Tex kills fluid, Red or I kill Idle.
Red glowacks Inner Stickler NAF peeker (Tex)
At Dawn, I promote Inner Stickler then release Tex. Red issues an arrest warrant for some town member, I put them in the brig. Only possible way to stop this that I see is if fluid is a Commissar (or NAF lied about his claim). I guess it would be possible, so I'm not going to claim quite yet myself.

Texcat, the Commissar kills Fluiddruid. OK here, or do you need a PM?
Are you going to report on Red as town or scum or forget to report?
Promoting Inner is the only thing that the timing is critical on, right? The rest we can do at our leisure?

Do not promote anyone.
With Idle and fluid dead the board looks like this:
Red glowacks Inner Naf Peeker (Tex)
You'll note that there are only 5 players outside of the brig. That means that the XO has the both the powers of the XO and the chief of security. All you have to do is wait for me to issue the arrest order.
You do have to make sure that you arrest that person BEFORE releasing tex otherwise 6 people will be in play and you'll lose the power to release tex from the brig.

If fluid isn't a commissar or hacker we can't really lose at this point.

"If there are five or fewer crew members available to be officers, the Head of Engineering and Ship's Doctor positions will not be filled. If there are three crew members available, the Executive Officer will also take on the Chief of Security's authority. If there is only one or two, the Captain will be vested with the power of both the Executive Officer and Chief of Security."
It looks to me like that happens only when we are down to 3. Not down to 5.

Just to clarify:
From the rules:
"If there are three crew members available, the Executive Officer will also take on the Chief of Security's authority"
Does this mean there are two players (#2 and #3) that can both act as the Chief of Security? Or just the #2 player?

Okay, just so I'm totally clear:
Tomorrow at 3pm et :
glowacks is going to promote Inner first
Then I come in and issue an arrest warrant for NAF.
Then I issue and release warrant for myself.
Then glowacks arrests NAF
Then glowacks releases Tex.
That's right right?

Looks good to me. The only thing that's critical is to promote Inner before he's able to brig you. And you might order a release for yourself immediately anyway.

Either the arrest order that fluid made for Red needs to be removed or I need to promote Inner Stickler before he is able to brig Red. The only thing that needs to be waited on is my actual completion of the arrest on whoever Red chooses. The other orders can and should be done as soon as possible.
There are a number of things that can screw us over, but they involve fluid having a power and using it on Red or I despite the fact that it's Tex that's claiming scum and in position to take over Captain, or Inner Stickler being quick and arresting Red. Additionally, they all require peeker or NAF to vote; right now the only surviving vote they have is Inner Stickler. So we don't quite have a forced win, but it's looking pretty good.
