Cabalist Secret Power: "Doppelganger"
Once per game, either Day or Night, you may choose to "double" another living player (who is not a Cabalist), in addition to any regular actions. The doubling remains in effect until you decide to cancel it or after you or your target dies. The targeted player will be subject-blocked while being doubled, though a secret power will not be affected.
You will learn your target's role (but not their side) and will gain the use of their non-secret powers while the doubling is in effect. If you double a player with a group power, you may use the group power each Night, no matter what that group chooses. For example, doubling a Witch lets you either protect or investigate; doubling a Wolf lets you kill. This doubling power cannot be blocked or redirected; however, "doubled" powers may be. You may not use a doubled power the same Night you use a regular power.
If the doubled player is targeted by any player, that player will be redirected to you. Conversely, if you are targeted by any player, that player will be redirected to the doubled player. Recruitment is always successful if the target can be recruited, since there are few drawbacks. The recruited Witch will keep their original powers, but will otherwise be a Witch, gaining access to the Witch board and counting as a living Witch. A recruited Witch may not use a Witch power the same Night they use an original power. Each original Witch may be replaced once; replacements cannot be. Each Day, you may hypnotize one player and influence their future action. You have two options.
First, you change their target to one of your choice. The next time they use a non-secret targeted power (either that same Day or at any following time), they will instead target your implanted target. They will know they have been redirected. Message to target something like "Instead of using [power] on [player], you are compelled to use it on [player2]. Results based on that are ...".
Second, you change their power to kill. The next time they use a non-secret targeted power (either that same Day or at any following time), they will instead kill their target. They will know their power has been substituted. Message to target something like "Instead of using [power] on [player], you are compelled to kill them. You succeed/fail."
If you hypnotize a player twice (once with each option) before they use a targeted power, both options will be in effect.
