Pleo, if the alpha wolf fails to show, do we miss our kill and secret power?

You won't lose your kill.
I didn't directly consider the problem, but the rule "if there are no Alpha Wolves, then all living Wolves must decide without dissent" works well enough. Either vote or say Wolf X can make the choice if the Alpha doesn't decide.

OK, I suspect KidV is the Scotsman, he was the one who questioned Pizza's highlander comment as prepping for a false scotsman claim and then was quite willing to be lynched to prove his towniness.
Non-witches probably include: all of us, Kidv, Suburban, Red, Giraffe, Colby, Bill, Septimus, Peeker So that leaves: Flying Squid with Goggles, SisterCoyote, Inner Stickler, Wombat99, Askthepizzaguy, Merestil Haye, Polluxo
I'd guess Inner (for his vote on KidV, protecting Scuba) and MHaye (Scuba seemed to defend him) as most likely co-witches with Inner as my top choice for toNight's kill (pending a re-read).

I think Red S. is a witch personally. But, I agree regarding MHaye. Let's kill MHaye. Both are active lurkers at this point.

KidV dropped another scottsman hint. Faking it?

I'm OK with an MHaye kill.
Good catch on KidV possibly being the scotsman. I didn't remember he was the one who challenged the scotsman breadcrumb, and the self-vote makes sense. I'm glad I wasn't on that bandwagon, since the scotsman will know the side of his killer or the last to vote him if lynched.
I questioned if this is the rare case where a no-kill would be best. I usually think there is never a time scum should no-kill, but the detective has a 33% chance of identifying our designated killer. Also the cabal have redirect powers, and if they redirect our killer they will have a good reason to go after that player. If we no-kill the detective will have the vampire and vig kills to investigate. The detective gets a failed result on the vampire, and just a name for the vig. This could result in the outing of both the detective and either vig or vampire.
That said, the death rate in this game will be very high, giving us limited time to kill not-us. After some thought I think it's best to kill, but I wanted to throw the no-kill option out there in case anyone has any thoughts.
I volunteer to be the designated killer Tonight and until I'm dead. I think you all did a great job Today, and are much more likely to survive endgame than I am.
I hope gnarly submitted a target for the secret power Today, and will do so Tonight. It's a very powerful power for determining roles. If he did submit a target Today I think he should have a result, which could change our kill.

Doesn't our alpha have to kill? We should always kill, we need to kill to win. Ultimately it is our super power. Let's get our best shot out there and do it!

For reference:
Wolf 1: Vindictus, Omega Wolf 2: Nesta, Rank 2 Wolf 5: Guiri, Rank 1 Wolf 7: Babale, Rank 3 Wolf 8: Gnarlycharlie, Alpha
I retract my comment about MHaye, I suspect Polluxo is slightly more likely to be a witch. I don't think I'm going to have time for a full re-read before Dawn.
Does a self-protecting witch survive the Alpha Wolf's block-kill? The rules say the kill will fail if "the target is [...] protected (except for self protection)"
Wolf2 to kill Inner Stickler Wolf8 to track kidV

A Witch protecting themself will lose their protection with the Alpha's block-kill. But a Witch being protected by another Witch will not.
Nesta will kill Inner Stickler, unless a future order changes it.
You cannot direct the Alpha's powers. They need to send me a PM or post here.

Thank you pleo. Bretheren, we should consider if GC remains 'incognito' that we could lynch him as a lurker, gaining anti-wolf cred for all of us and then clearing the way for a new alpha who has more access/is more current. Just a ruthless thought

Gnarly's been very busy in RL and has been flaky in several games recently. We can still submit a kill so his absence is not so drastic but does hurt the team. I'd suggest light poking toMorrow and he fails to vote (and is therefore blocked) or doesn't use his secret power on D2/N2, I'd agree to being ruthless D3.

Hey! Anyone around? Night ends in a couple of hours, I've expressed my preference to kill Inner but Vindictus preferred Red and Nesta prefers MHaye. Babale, want to break the tie?

I know it's a few minutes too late, but I'm OK with Inner was well. I don't have much of a read on Red, but I think I had a slight scum lean on him, so I'd rather shoot in the leaning town side.
