Lightfoot, SisterCoyote, Laurie I'd suggest protecting Hockey Monkey tonight.
They're killing two of the Masons/Docs tonight, AND getting both their sins right. Mistervisceral has been less active and is less important to the game, so I'd say let that kill go through (even though it's his soul in Hell) because a) it'll get people to stop complaining about the masons and b) maybe once they realize he's in Hell they'll start being more careful about the Cardinal Sins. Hockey, on the other hand, has been active and is probably more useful to Town to keep around, so I'd say protect her from CIAS's kill.
As far as I can tell, CIAS is only protected from watching/tracking so Colby's kill should also go through.

Well we've done all we can do. It's a little frustrating since this game was touted from even before it started that it involved players still being active after their deaths. The Guardian Angel power is probably the most powerful thing in the Town's arsenal in the game and if the Devils win because it isn't used, that would suck.

Please PM any power orders (which you did, but mentioning it for others).
That was a good save. Don't let me forget that the protection continues into Day Six, so that Devil votes won't count on Hockey.
Unfortunately for the good guys, Moley's block cancelled colby's kill of CatInASuit.
I think this game is still open to being won by either side. There's certainly a lot of frustration on both sides.

And to answer Suburban's question: the Lust action is intended to protect against kills and alignment investigations. Unfortunately, it's not worded well.

Sorry, Just got home from work/picking up kiddo from school.
Lighfoot, Thanks for GA Hockey Monkey.
As I mentioned before, Mondays/Thursdays are my busiest days and EOD/EON on any day is right when I pick up my kiddo from school (3PM East Coast time), so unless Scum put in their orders early enough in the Day/Night (and do not change them last minute!), I'm not always available to use my GA power.
i.e. I'm not here b/c I can't be not b/c I don't want to be........

You can put in a contingent order, based on knowledge you will have.

It's okay Laurie, I know you've been checking in. What's funny to me is that the Devils have the Heaven Guardian Angel power spelled out for them in the "Welcome to Hell" thread and yet they're still wondering why their kills are being blocked. It sucks Moley blocked Colby's kill, but hopefully with mistervisceral's kill going through Moley will put two and two together and realize the scum kill isn't a Killing role, and that the last Killing role is likely Christian/Town.

I really hope the Chucara train sticks and they lynch him. I just really want to see Moley's reaction when Chucara turns up Devil and see if he can put the pieces together of how badly he screwed up.

Also Laurie, it's usually more important for you to be here for EON instead of EOD, especially since they're going to get to have two kills again tonight (if there is somebody without an active vote) thanks to patricia's power.

I rooting for the Chucara train to keep on chugging, too. I just wish Moley hadn't asked people to confirm how Chucara would know the answer b/c those who do will be giving away their CS to the Devils. In all fairness, I know he doesn't know that the Devils know all our Roles, but I still feel squeemish each time he "confirms" Chucara.... EON this time should be on Thursday - one of my busy work days, but hubby is out of work at 2PM that day and can p/u kiddo from school - so there's hope Will also try to put in contingent orders, just in case I don't make it home in time, if the Devils have made their choice early enough.

I don't get the confirmation thing for Chuc/holey can someone fill me in?

I don't know how exactly Moley first picked up on Chucara, but in Day Two or Three he basically listed out all the numbers in the Gluttony Sin + one that wasn't in it, and asked Chucara which one was out of place. Since the Devils have all the Sin powers and know all the Cardinal Sins, Chucara easily figured it out and posted the right one, "confirming" him in Moley's eyes.
And yeah, if anybody else "confirms" Moley and/or Chucara, it gives the Devils even more powers.
The problem with the Devils' bonus powers from claiming souls is that it's kind of a domino effect. Once they claim one soul, they get a bonus power that really, really helps them, usually to claim another soul. Enough people right now have inadvertantly given away their Cardinal Sins that we really can't protect all of them, and the Devils are going to get more and more powerful as the game continues.

something I have not balanced in my head= and it might be the tooth ache- Devils that are killed go to Hell non-devils to puratory and maybe to heaven or hell
A devil can't get to heaven by my maths- so how does the end game play out for Heaven/VS/Hell ? or is that just an entertaining game mechanic for the dead?

Enough people right now have inadvertantly given away their Cardinal Sins that we really can't protect all of them, and the Devils are going to get more and more powerful as the game continues. This was one of the harder things to balance. You should also note that players in Heaven also create a domino effect when the stop the Devils from claiming souls. Part of the balance is the third tie-breaker for lynches. Devils control it initially, but at some point non-Devils will control it. And once the Baron and Executioner are dead, it will effectively be the first tie-breaker. But I'm a little surprised at how the Cardinal Sins have developed. I expected players to use them and then maybe be caught by the Devils observing vote patterns and other actions. Instead, players are mostly not using them, but are violating the hint "do not let others figure out your Cardinal Sin". Sigh.

That's what has amazed me the most about this game - people discussing their Cardinal Sins - when you were very clear about not letting anyone find out your CS.

It's mostly patricia's fault. Her mistake in the Cardinal Sin matter has given Town a big head and they're sort of cocky. They think the scum don't have much information, but in reality scum have perfect information. They know everything, even more than they would in a usual game.
It's also partly that people are misinterpreting the warning. They think "oh, if I don't mention my Cardinal Sin by name I'm okay" and then go and blab their powers, thinking that the powers won't give anything away. That's why I was specifically vague when asked about mine. At least wombat is smart enough to try and not go down that road (even though the scum have already figured out her Sin).
If I were still playing, I'd definitely be chastising all the players with how loose they're being about their Cardinal Sin powers.

Can someone explain to me what the hell Idle is doing? Town was close to lynching a Devil, too. Damn it.
If this is him trying to get people to vote for somebody he's convinced is a Devil, he's being an idiot because he's wrong and texcat's Christian. If this is him trying to get people to send people into Heaven, he's an idiot because he has sin and won't go directly to Heaven. If this is him purposefully lying so he doesn't have to play the game anymore, he's an idiot because he still has to play after he's dead.
The only good thing to come of this is that texcat will be in Heaven and she's active enough to use her Guardian Angel power, but at the same time she's been the most on-the-nose Townie so far.
Ugh, what a mess.
